Treatment

How can these changes be stopped?

There are 2 possible options:

  • Treat the underlying condition (such as an ovarian or brain tumor)
  • Hormonal therapy to treat any hormonal imbalance

How can I catch up with my friends?

Specific hormonal treatment for delayed puberty will be determined by your doctor based on:

  • Your age, overall health and medical history
  • Extent of the condition
  • Your opinion or preference
